happy december!
i can't believe it's been a year since i haven't updated this blog. sorry! having a two year old while working.. i guess i just haven't had the time to really sit down and write.. even though writing is one of the many things i enjoy doing.
a quick update on 2014:
- we celebrated james' second birthday (time flies)
- dennis and i finallyyy had our wedding ceremony on the 16th of february. it was held at fox hollow country club and the venue itself was gorgeous. to top it all off everything was up to par so i was more than satisfied with our overall experience. dennis also had the wafles and dinges truck to come for dessert so that was exciting too!
- God has blessed us with another baby - this time it's a girl!.. and she's scheduled to come out tomorrow!
so yes... that is one of the reasons why i am probably blogging at 1am. i am about 85% done cleaning and getting ready for baby lena and i just don't feel confident that i will do a good job. i wonder if it's normal to feel that way.
instead of feeling excited, anxious and happy i feel worried and guilty.. guilty that i will not show james enough attention, or guilty that i won't be a good mom to both lena and james. i'm scared that i won't love them equally and that i might favor one over the other.. i just don't feel confident this time around and i'm not sure why that is.
either way, i am blessed to have another addition to our family (a girl! finally!) and to be honest i am really glad that my pregnancy will soon be over. with james, i had a really easy pregnancy with no complications what so ever but this time around, it was hard! i will always cherish the times when she was in my belly but now it's time for a new chapter and now the long wait is over.
hopefully these feelings are just temporary and once she comes out i'm back to being a super mom! one more day -- here we go :)
