last week of September, also the last week of my second trimester!

GOOOOOOOOOOOOOD.. it's ALREADY the last week of September, and it's officially the last week of my second trimester! EEK! as we are getting ready to welcome baby James into this cruel world, i am getting nervous by the day! i wonder if he's doing okay in there.. i get so worried since i can't see his face or his expressions.. i don't know how he's feeling! ugh.

so the last week of my second trimester... gees. i'm going to miss it so much! i think it was the most comfortable / exciting stage for me. comfortable because i wasn't HUGE, and was able to do things such as traveling (Disneyland & walking around the Vegas strip), driving, shopping, walking, etc, etc.. exciting, because my baby bump finally decided to say hello! and i finally got to feel my baby move around. soo cute! to be honest i'm kinda scared to enter the third trimester because that's when you start getting swollen and stuff.. but i'm assuming that it'll be okay for me, because so far my pregnancy has been a piece of cake. no morning sickness, no food cravings... my husband and i are very lucky!

anyways, it's so sad how time quickly flies by.. it seems like it was just yesterday when i was moving down to DC, but that's already been almost one year ago! it also seemed like it was yesterday when i found out i was preggers but that was already 5 months ago. goodness..

next thing you know i'm gonna be celebrating my 30th birthday. NUUUUUUUUUuuuu ;( *sniffsniff* well.. at least i'll have my loving family by my side :)

gonna go for a dr's appt. next week~ sonogram pictures will be up then... only if my baby isn't hiding. >.<

baby shower shopping

went shopping for some stuff for the shower with my lovely cousin, painted the nursery last night with the hubby, and ordered the new crib just a couple of minutes ago.. ohhhh.. just for james~~ so exciting! go team blue!! <3

wedding hall scouting!

today, the hubbie and i went to two different places in Long Island to check out some places to have our wedding at. our first stop was at Crest Hollow- it was a beautiful country club with a huge pool in the middle. it looked GORGEOUS! i can only imagine how it looks at night.. ugh. breathtaking! anyways, so this is def. our #1 choice if we wanted to have our wedding OUTDOORS. here are some pics:

and the other place we stopped by was a place called Fox Hollow, which was also another beautiful property. this place was def. a little more traditional but it had a cozy feeling to it. they also have a hotel that's a couple of steps away, and they gave out a complimentary room for the bride + groom for a night, which i thought was really nice (also discounted rates for our guests). now the menu for this place was a lot better than the other one, and the prices were a little cheaper. it was only cheaper because if we were supposed to do it here, then we'd have an indoor wedding in around November, and it was a little cheaper then than doing it on October. here are some pics:

so far, this is what we got. 2 places.. we're going to look for more places since we have a litltle bit of time left, but hmm.. this is so exciting! :)

at 26 weeks..

at 26 weeks, i am finally showing.. (i think a lot) and i feel very.. heavy. haha it's sometimes hard to be sitting for a long time, and i have trouble breathing sometimes. but you know what.. it's all worth it. yesterday i was thinking to myself, "omg it's already almost the end of my second trimester!" that means.. three more months til we see our wonderful newborn baby. i have mixed feelings about him too.. to be honest. most of the times i'm very excited and anxious to see him, but there are times when i get scared. scared that i might be a failure at being a mom, or scared that i might not be ready yet.. sigh. hopefully though, i'll be a kick ass mom~ can't wait!

baby... everything!

getting ready for my baby shower which is in about a month~ also gonna go visit the hospital next monday to take a tour of it.. then gonna finalllyy decorate the nursery.. mm.. i'm so excited!

all i want...

is my mom's homemade HAM SANDWICH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GOD................... *sniffles* but on the other hand, i cooked from the moment i woke up til.. now. i ate very very healthy and my family members are proud of me. muahaa. now it's time to steal the egg i boiled for my husband because he is too busy playing games. ^________^

at 24 1/2 weeks

James is covering his face! LOL :) at first the person doing the sonogram, my husband, and I were VERY surprised and amused thinking.. "is he flicking us off?" and we couldn't stop laughing once he did this.. gesture. but we finally got to take a picture of it and we what we thought was a finger.. might have not been! but oh wells.. he sure did give us a good laugh! he was also very active.. wouldn't stop moving! too bad the last two times i went for an ultrasound he was laying down on his stomach. booo :(

James! there are lots of people waiting to meet you, my precious love.. but we will wait patiently. til then, please entertain yourself by... kicking, swimming, punching me, and... such. i will try to entertain you with some music in the time being as well. love you lots! <3
