one milestone after another... i can't believe that my baby is already six months old. six months... it seems like it was yesterday when i got admitted to the hospital. gees~
anyways, a lot of people have been asking me if i'm still breastfeeding.. and the answer is *drum roll* YES! i mean.. if you're going to wake up to feed the baby in the middle of the night ANYWAYS, why not just breastfeed? it saves a lot of time and it's so convenient. i was strongly against formula because i wanted my baby to have the best of the best.. haha :) don't get me wrong there's nothing wrong with feeding formula.. but there are some things that breast milk has that formula doesn't. i also love the bond that we share when he's eating~ i'm very fortunate that my milk hasn't dried out yet~ six months was the max i was going to go... but i think i'm going to shoot for six more months~ we'll see. :) on the other hand, we did put him on solids and he's been eating it really well. i'm so proud of him.. my hungry hungry hippo!
this month, he started rolling from his stomach to his back and vice versa, started eating solids, saw his cousin for the first time, went on a road trip to baltimore and DC, got a new car seat and stroller, went to the beach, and was on babycenter.com!
six months... six more months and he's one year old! i have a feeling that day will come very soon! :(

dipping his feet into the beach for the first time..
it was my first time eating spanish tapas! to be honest, when my friend told us that we were going to dine there, i looked at the menu beforehand, and didn't know if i was going to enjoy it or not. i just had a bunch of question marks floating on top of my head. like.. what are tapas? how does it taste? small plates..? how small!??! but whatever.. decided to give it a try! so we went to bodega in georgetown.
the smoked salmon & asparagus
didn't get to try the smoked salmon bc of the baby so i can't really say much. but the asparagus tasted a bit bitter. maybe it was the sauce that they used

this was deliciouss! i loved it. esp. with the sauce that came with it.. it was kinda creamy in the inside, but it was very good

oh man.. i think lamb is my new fav. thing these days. it was so tender and yummy.. the mashed potato that came with it went very well with the meat. wish we had more of this!
squid ink paella
is NOT my thing. the smell of it was TOO strong to a point where i didn't even want to try this thing. it sucks because it was the most expensive thing on the menu :T next time we'll try something else.. but i'm not planning on ever trying this again. gross >.<
